newest in ScubaPro dive and DAN safety equipment. The
rates include free use of BC and regulator. Masks and
fins are available but we recommend that you bring your own to
insure comfort and fit. NB: It is Coral Lodge's policy not to accept Dive Package reservations from the end of November until the end of March due to weather conditions at this time of year.

Coral Lodge is best appreciated through the variety of activities our unique location offers. Please let us know
in advance which of the following excursions you would like to participate in since
many of them
require prior arrangements.:

GUIDED SNORKELING:Depending on water conditions there are a variety of places for great snorkeling. Join the scuba divers on the boat and the dive master will be happy to point you in the right direction. $65 per person.
SANTA ISABEL RIVER AND VILLAGE TOUR: Visit the last village in Colon province (an ideal movie set for “Lost” or “Survivor”) and one of the most remote in Panama, while enjoying a quintessential jungle river. We only offer this at high tide in order to pass the river mouth. Upon request.
GUIDED RAINFOREST TREK: (in the dry season) to a nearby river with incredible lush tropical jungle foliage $25 per person, 2 person minimum.
HORSE RIDING EXCURSION: on a jungle trail and/or a long beautiful beach. Includes a 10 minute boat ride from the lodge. CORAL
LODGE POLICIES
OUR
RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT: Check-in time 1:00 pm and Check out time: 11:00 am
VILLA #6: Due to a number of reviews in various websites and magazine articles, there is a constant demand for reserving villa #6. Its location is slightly more private but all the villas are basically the same and have the same great views. Since #6 was the first villa built, our guinea pig as it were, the other villas have slight layout improvements and are a bit more spacious. We try to reserve villa#6 on a first come first serve basis but we give priority to honeymooners and longer stays. However, since we only have six water villas, we can’t promise any given villa with total certainty since there is a chance, however small, that a change would have to be made to properly accommodate reservations.
MINIMUM
STAY: Given Coral Lodge’s
remote location and the numerous leisure, nature, adventure and cultural
related activities offered, we strongly recommend a minimum stay of 2
nights. During high season, longer stays will be given priority over reservation
requests for shorter stays.
CHILDREN
POLICY: Because Coral Lodge’s bungalows and walkways are over the water children under age 10 are not allowed
for safety reasons. Given the type of activities available at
Coral Lodge, we do not recommend booking with us if you plan to
bring children and/or adolescents over 10 years of age unless you
are certain they will enjoy nature related activities and will not
create a disturbance to other guest who want to relax and enjoy our
unique setting. We do not have TV, internet, video games or
activities designed for children and since a number of situations
could be hazardous for them, parents must exercise care and control
of their children at all times. We do not allow rough or boisterous
behavior.
DIVE PACKAGE
RESERVATIONS: During the months of December through March, Coral Lodge does not accept reservations for Dive Packages due to the weather. This time period is the windy season on the north coast of Panama and there is only about a 30% chance of being able to dive.
PAYMENTS: The following payment options are available, Last minute reservations should use the credit card option:

is not received during that period.
PAYMENT
OF BALANCE: The balance of your invoice is to be received
at least 30 days prior to your arrival date. As our accommodation is limited,
if we do not receive the balance by the due date, we may assume that you
have cancelled your proposed stay with us.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations must be made and received by Coral Lodge in writing either
by email or fax. The following fees apply for cancellations as a percentage
of the total invoice value and are deducted from the deposit and/or payment:

can also be used for rescheduled reservations.
LAST
MINUTE RESERVATIONS: Payments for last minute reservations
will be arranged with our reservation manager and should be made prior
to travel to the lodge.
GRATUITIES: Gratuities for hotel staff are NOT included in your rates. All gratuities go into pool and are distributed equally to everyone in the hotel since we feel the maintenance crew is just as important as the restaurant staff. We recommend a gratuity of $20 per night at the lodge which can be given to the Guest Services Coordinator at the end of your stay. If they or any of our staff members have made your trip extra special, a personal tip to them is appreciated and welcomed.
INSURANCE: We strongly recommend that you travel with a comprehensive travel
insurance policy to protect yourself and those traveling with you in the
event of illness, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items, cancellations
and other contingencies.

that Coral Lodge and its parent company is not responsible for any loss
of or damage to personal equipment and property or personal injuries sustained
during your stay with us, or during your participation in any of our sponsored
activities. For your own safety, please follow any and all directions
and instructions given to you by our staff and those responsible for sponsored
activities. Guests participating in scuba diving activities are required
to sign an indemnity release form prior to instruction/diving. We will
not accept responsibility for any delay, additional expense or inconvenience
which may be caused directly or indirectly by events outside our control
such as late arrival of International flights, civil disturbance, natural
disasters, unusually severe weather, acts of government, acts of terrorism,
or the failure of any machinery, equipment or transportation vehicle.
